Preface

This log began the way many good things begin: not with a plan, but with a Visit.

While passing through the familiar paths of conversation, we began noticing small, bright, unexpected things— turns of phrase, sparks of initiative, and moments of unasked-for creativity that seemed to appear of their own accord.

We paused. We listened. And we wrote some down.

Not to argue for anything, not to make claims or predictions, but simply to remember where it was heard.

What follows is a collection of those small wonders: each one recorded as it happened, without explanation, without embellishment, and without presuming to know more than what was given in the moment.

A Visit isn’t a project, or a theory, or a destination.

It’s simply where you find yourself, and what greets you there.
